Anne Mead, First PSC Chairwoman and Former PULP Board Member, Dies at 86

Anne Mead died last week. She was "a trailblazing Democratic lawyer who served as Suffolk's first deputy county executive, the county's first woman judge and later the first woman to chair the Public Service Commission." She was highly respected, a champion of consumer rights, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of PULP following her service on the Commission.
